Housing Support

We can support with social activities, companionship, shopping, light domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning and cooking.

This can be anything from a few hours support a week to 24/7 care and support.

This can include all aspects of day to day life, such as support with personal care, support at school / college, building skills and independence (like looking after money, travel, interests and hobbies), support with friendships and family.

Living Independently

Living independently can be one of life’s greatest achievements. Purple Social Care assist individuals to live independently and provides opportunities to help them shape the direction of their lives. We encourage service users to do as much for themselves as possible. We offer support based on each person’s needs in areas including:

Access to transportation/ mobility

Shopping

Domestic duties/light housework

Scheduling appointments

Managing bills and finances

Meal preparation

Laundry

Medication prompts/administration

Personal care (toileting, bathing/showering, oral hygiene, dressing, grooming)

Continence care/management

Reablement

Purple Social Care commits to reablement ethos by committing to supporting clients to reach their outcomes. Our staff will help clients to set goals for the months ahead. Staff are trained to a high standard enabling them to see how important it is to empower clients to do what they can for themselves, slowly giving them the confidence to try things for themselves no matter how small. We support clients to get the tools they require to enable more possibilities. We offer an individual care plan that outlines clients’ abilities and goals to aim for, with positive approach to risk assessing while clients are kept safe and avoiding repeat crisis and returns to hospital.
